Douglas Eje Ondor

Douglas Eje Ondor is the Managing Associate and the Firm's Litigation, Dispute Resolution, and Corporate Law practice team. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from an institution in Makurdi, Benue State, and is licensed to practice in Nigeria. Prior to his current role, he served as an Associate (Counsel) with Mike Ozekhome's Chambers under the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme, followed by practice as Counsel at Deeplaw Associates.

His practice focuses on civil, criminal, and corporate law, where he has built a solid record of successfully representing clients in court and developing effective legal strategies. He has extensive experience handling litigation across all superior courts of record in Nigeria and is highly skilled in drafting complex pleadings and processes, including Writs of Summons, Originating Summonses, Notices of Appeal, and appellate Briefs of Argument for both the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

Douglas also has hands-on experience in corporate transactions, where he reviews, drafts, and negotiates commercial contracts and agreements. He plays a key role in supervising and reviewing court processes and correspondences, leveraging strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients.

• Serving as Counsel at A.K. Ajibade & Associates, advising clients, managing complex legal issues, and supervising the review of court processes and correspondences.
• Serving as Counsel at Deeplaw Associates, where he conducted client interviews, analyzed cases, performed legal research, and drafted letters and agreements.
• Practicing as an NYSC Associate (Counsel) with Mike Ozekhome's Chambers, representing clients, writing articles on topical legal issues, and moving motions in court.
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating diverse commercial contracts, agreements, and transaction documents to minimize legal and operational risks.
